Plant baskets should be 9"-12" below the water surface. Produce a profusion of flowers and foliage from May-September. Colors are various shades (depending on the variety) of white, pink, red, yellow and changeable. The newest color in hardy hybrid lilies is peach.

Size range: Pygmy - good for tub gardens, sm-med - most average sized ponds, large - larger ponds.

Water depth is measured from the top of the soil to the water surface. We use and recommend open weave plant baskets. The open weave design allows the plant roots to feed from the water as well as the soil. The basket should be lined with untreated burlap to prevent the soil from leaking into the water. Smooth pebbles placed on the soil surface discourages the fish from digging in the plants.
